See through the lens

I had the chance to work with some of my friends and, newly made friends over the weekend on a photoshoot. Model: Fern ( https://www.instagram.com/fernie_x/ ) Make up artist: Kathryn ( https://www.instagram.com/makeupartist185/ ) co-Photographer and light : Andrew ( https://www.instagram.com/andychang_photo/ ) Lighting: Malcolm We decided to try and use only natural light and reflectors for the shoot as the location is full of natural reflectors itself.           The indoor shots were even a better opportunity to create some moody shots or even try some cinematic effects of a hard back lighting to illuminate the hair. Fern looked amazing in there.          

A little trip to the legendary Notting Hill Carnival 0n the 28th of August 2016 was absolutely the thing to do. Although the 29th would have apparently been better, being there on the 28th was still an amazing experience. The smell of the amazing food was great, and being in London, a large number of the Jamaican and thai food stalls were serving Halal food. Quite an interesting integration. I decided to have a trip to Brighton, the ultimate place to get great portraits and it was Brighton Pride 2016 in United Kingdom. Imagine the amazing people, makeup, places. I met a great couple, Bill and Silvia, who I met on instagram a little while ago and hung out. Here are some photos of Brighton Pride 2016
