See through the lens

Today is the anniversary of the Independence day of my country, Mauritius. I was born there and lived for 23 years before moving to UK. It's fair to say I hardly spent my adult life in Mauritius. Going there regularly however, I have had the chance to look at the country in a different light completely. It's a great place to live and people are very nice. One day, I went to the vegetable market in Port Louis and took some photos I'd like to share with you.        

Fooooood! Who doesn't like good food? Over the years, I had the chance to photograph some great looking and tasting food at weddings, home and parties. I remember once I made a fish finger sandwich for lunch just because I wanted to photograph it.  What a life, aye? My Portugal visit When I was in Portugal, I went to a local fish market early one morning in Portimao with some of my friends.    Henley Hannah, my friend, made us a great lunch on Henley one year. It was rude not to take some low depth of field shots.
