Reasons why you'd like to live in or visit Bristol

Image
An impromptu visit to Bristol was planned to visit the city and get to know more about it, in an attempt to understand what we want and what kind of place we'd like to live in. Little did we know that we'll end up on Bristol Pride week-end. Our week-end and research over there brought to our attentions to why the city could be a potential location to settle down in for any young couple Reason 1: It's Just Beautiful The city is full of beauty, with the modern and historical architecture side by side. Old warehouses and factories have been turned into markets, restaurants, theatres rather than left to rot. We have found run down places near the city centre but they weren't that big. People seem to take pride in the appearance of their streets. We found some old shoes in which were planted flowers. An idea that we'll take on for sure   It even has its own Monopoly board. You should try it out. Just like the normal monopoly game, it contains the street that&#

Camden Market

Image
If I tell you that the famous Camden Market in London, UK started with a mere 16 stalls and on Saturdays only. Well, that was in March 1974 and a lot has changed since. It is now home to over 1000 stalls ranging from bread to expensive antiques. Unlike the high street, the traders are predominantly self employed small sole traders or family businesses. A lot of them uphold deep certain values of their own that they bring to their offering. For instance, you can have fully organic food shops, vegan, gluten free to traditional way of working with leather. Some of the things I like about the market.. 1. Coffee Starting your day with a delicious latte made with some nicely roasted coffee beans and creamy textured frothy milk from inside the market itself. Facing the bridge with the clock just behind you is where you an find on your left the entrance to one of the food section of the market. On your left would be some succulent cakes, pastries and bakes and steps away on you

Photoshoot with Fern in Royal Holloway.

I had the chance to work with some of my friends and, newly made friends over the weekend on a photoshoot. Model: Fern ( https://www.instagram.com/fernie_x/ ) Make up artist: Kathryn ( https://www.instagram.com/makeupartist185/ ) co-Photographer and light : Andrew ( https://www.instagram.com/andychang_photo/ ) Lighting: Malcolm We decided to try and use only natural light and reflectors for the shoot as the location is full of natural reflectors itself.           The indoor shots were even a better opportunity to create some moody shots or even try some cinematic effects of a hard back lighting to illuminate the hair. Fern looked amazing in there.

Notting Hill Carnival 2016

Image
A little trip to the legendary Notting Hill Carnival 0n the 28th of August 2016 was absolutely the thing to do. Although the 29th would have apparently been better, being there on the 28th was still an amazing experience. The smell of the amazing food was great, and being in London, a large number of the Jamaican and thai food stalls were serving Halal food. Quite an interesting integration. Here are some photos of the occasion
