Finding photos for the office
The management team of my company of mostly men working in Information Technology decided one fine morning that "Hang on, we can't live and work like this! we got to get some colours and art here. What could we do?
"I know, let's get some photos from members of staff on here"... "Knowing those geeks out there, we better put some boundaries!"... Whaaaat?
Ok, it didn't go like that, I wasn't in the meeting and I'm sure the idea was good. The team decided that we nee a Surrey Hills theme on the walls, seeing we work very close to many. But Photos?!? hello? I can't let that opportunity go. I need to get at least one photo on the wall.
So, with the amazing support of my other half who I woke up at 7.30, and I went out hunting for photos. I did make it up to her with a really nice breakfast in a farm shop though. We even treated ourselves to Macarons. It was my first time and she couldn't believe it! Come on, i didn't even know what they were. I come from Mauritius for god's sake and we've got napolitaine! and it can't be beaten. She enjoyed those macarons real well and so did I. :)
Anyway.. back to photos. We worked hard that cold morning to get some nice shots. We both had our respective camera and we snapped. I sent a number of photos to Jamie, my manager who was in charge of office decoration and I ended up having 8 photos out of 14 on the wall. Here they are.
The post office box - most people's favourite based on the compliments I received.

The swan in the misty lake.

I took this for my colleague Delio as he is a fan of sheep for some reasons. But Jamie like those two photos.

My personal favourite:
My least favourite, but which made it through. Jamie must have liked it. :)

This one was taken by my other half, who allowed me to use it. I really like the photo

I like that one. It was in a national trust garden. I forgot which one. It was taken two years ago.
